The Cradle to Career Roadmap shows the key milestones in two critical aspects of a child's development: academic/career and and personal/social. It encourages partnerships with all segments of the community to support the goals of meeting the educational needs of all students and preparing them for rewarding careers.

The Roadmap depicts a collaborative approach that engages families, educators, government, business, labor, faith and community-based organizations as pillars of support for students. The Roadmap is based on students achieving specific academic and career readiness milestones at each age and grade level. It also acknowledges the personal/social readiness factors that are critical to the academic success of our students.
